The place

A place of stillness, healing and peace

The PAZ MUNDO healing and peace centre stands on an ancient, sacred MAYA site. Its founders are Omrael Norbert and Christine Muigg. It is a place of healing for soul and body, of adapting to the spirit of the age, of inner stillness and contemplation — a place that opens your heart and your love for the spiritual worlds, gives new strength for life and awakens and strengthens the love of life.

Open-minded visitors feel the divine kiss of connection between cosmos and Earth here. Within just a few hours they feel at home.

Change at the Centre

What happens in the group

The Centre is a place of clarity of mind and of love. During a group stay, valuable impulses unfold for how you live and for recognising your own path in life. The sacred places of the Centre open a deeper connection with cosmic forces, with the forces of the underworlds, with nature beings and with the mystery of being human. In the groups there is the chance to resolve central life themes, to develop inner peace and so to come closer to the healing of the soul.

History and vision

PAZ MUNDO TO OM RA KAAN

It was a walk with friends that led us to this mystical MAYA site in 1994. As a family we felt a deep, ancient connection with the spirit of the MAYA there. Over the following 30 years, after much effort and many challenges, the PAZ MUNDO ATITLÁN Centre came into being, together with the HOSPITAL PAZ MUNDO, built through a foundation, and its accompanying social programmes.

The PAZ MUNDO healing and peace centre is a place that connects tradition with our modern human development. The heart of the Centre brings cultures, religions and different faiths together. In the 30 years of unfolding of the ancient, sacred MAYA site of Sacsiguan (white earth), PAZ MUNDO ATITLÁN has become a place of peace, of the integration of cultures and religions, of clarity of mind and of all-connecting love.

Over these 30 years, countless rituals above Lago Atitlán gave rise to the CITY OF LIGHT PAZ MUNDO ATITLÁN and, as its polar counterpart, the sacred CITY OF DARKNESS. In connection with the activation of the “FEATHERED SERPENT”, an intercultural, subtle world peace council was able to form, through which the TO OM RA KAAN force field accompanies the fortunes of the Centre and of planet Earth.

The pyramids, temples and ritual stones of the 20 Nahuales of the MAYA calendar are aligned with the MAYA COSMOVISION that is being rebuilt in the change of the times. The central guiding force is a CRYSTAL SKULL of the MAYA, thousands of years old, in the underground temples of the sacred site. The Centre arose from the guiding impulses of the subtle PAZ MUNDO COUNCIL, the MAYA ancestors and the guardians of this sacred, ancient MAYA temple site.

So over the years a place of harmony, healing and peace has grown, connected with a strong current of energy that moves and changes the visitors to the Centre.

Travel information: flights, visa, luggage, pick-up

Flights

Please book the first and last day of the group dates as your arrival and departure days. Arrive in Guatemala in the afternoon, at the latest by 10 pm; the return flight in the afternoon. Flights usually cost around € 1,000; the journey takes about 20 hours with one to three changes. Time difference: 7 hours, 8 in summer. Recommended: Iberia, United, Delta, KLM, Air France, Lufthansa.

ESTA for flights via the USA

A stopover in the USA requires an ESTA, online at esta.cbp.dhs.gov — around USD 40, paid by credit card, valid for three years. Without an ESTA you cannot even transit through the USA.

Insurance and luggage

When booking, always take out travel cancellation insurance too. On long-haul flights the usual allowance is one suitcase up to 23 kg, one cabin bag of about 10 kg and a handbag or rucksack.

Airport pick-up

On the stated day our driver picks you up — at the exit with a PAZ MUNDO sign or your name. The drive to the Centre takes about 3 hours. If you arrive after 8 pm, you stay the night in Antigua (40 minutes away) and are picked up the next morning at 9.30; PAZ MUNDO covers the night before the group date.

Arriving earlier or staying longer

Gladly possible, for example to settle in at Antigua. For group participants there is a special rate of € 60 per night with full board at the Centre. Inexpensive shared taxis run from the airport to Antigua (around USD 15), and many hotels have their own transfer (around USD 50). The team helps with bookings.

An enquiry shows your interest in a journey without any commitment, and we send you the binding registration form.
